Do you long to strut into the world's most elite hotspots without a care in the world except how fabulous you are? Ever wish the velvet ropes didn't exclude you from the social circles of the A-List? Well now's your chance to bypass the bourgeois because Paris Hilton is looking for a new best friend, and she's set her sites on you!  MTV is giving the opportunity of a lifetime to one girl or guy who has what takes to become Paris Hilton's new BFF.  That's hot!

Over the next 8 weeks, a select few hopefuls will be chosen for a chance to be on Paris' new reality show where she'll pick a new best friend!  Wannabe besties will fill out their profiles with blogs, pictures, and videos that explain why they belong in this elite entourage.  It's going to take some serious convincing to set yourself apart from the pack, so let your personality shine through and do whatever it takes to get those votes!  The more votes you have the more noticeable you are, and popularity is the name of this game!

As a user, you'll have the option of signing up as a hopeful where you will compete for a spot on the show.  You can also choose to register as a voter, where you will choose your favorite users and cast your votes.  Only a handful of hopefuls will be selected, so put your best foot forward and convince the community!

Voting begins now with one 8 week round.

Whether you're here to earn a spot on the show or just to gawk and vote, you're a part of the parisbff.com community. Here's how it works: 

(1) If you're a fan who wants to surf the site and vote, register as a Voter.
(2) You must be 14 years or older and a U.S. citizen to register to vote.
(3) Log on and create your profile, post photos, blogs, and chat with other fans and users.
(4) Vote.

Half the fun is participating!  Get on the site, find your favorite profile and vote! The more you contribute the more you will move up the ranks of the "Voterazzi" leadboard and the closer you will be to scoring a special prize!

If you're interested in being considered as a hopeful, register to audition:

(1) You must be 18 years or older (and should appear to be between the ages of 18-24) and a U.S. citizen to register as a hopeful.
(2) Log on and create your profile, post videos, photos, blogs, and chat with fans.
(3) Convince us to vote for you.
(4) The more often you post, the more opportunities we have to love you. So post early and post a lot. Chat with fans, and own your page. This is all about you.

The casting consists of 8 weeks of voting.  Here are the weekly requirements you must fulfill to be eligible:

Weeks 1 - 4 (March 13 to April 6) 

Upload minimum of one (1) new 90 second video answering ALL of the following:

• What is the wildest thing you've ever done? 
• If you became a celebrity, what secret would you be most fearful of having exposed?
• Why do you think you would fit in with the socialite circle?

Post minimum of one (1) blog answering ALL of the following:

• Do you consider yourself fabulous?  How so?
• What qualities make you the perfect celebrity BFF?
• What similarities do you share with Paris?  How are you different?
• It's hard to stay in the public eye.  How would you maintain the limelight?
