What makes me stand out in a crowd?
Aside from always being one step ahead of the fashion curve, loud-mouthed, out-going and having the urge to break out into either song or dance and the most obscure moments you could imagine, I just tend to make sure that I am center of attention. If I leave a room without at least ½ of the people talking about me then I clearly was having an off day.
What is my life like at home and at work?
Life in Ohio is boring, but I make it work. I escape to NYC as much as possible and pretend to be famous and glamorous, and I spend weekends traveling to concerts where I dance in the back of the room because I don’t care what anyone thinks as long as I am having fun. On weekdays I attend college which I cannot wait to be done with as I view it as the biggest waste of money and my time, and on days when I am not in class I work at a small town community bank as a teller. My coworkers look forward to the days I am in the office as I make the hours pass quickly with my entertaining stories of weekend travels and my mad sing-alongs to the radio.
Sometimes I think I am famous...
My most favorite time would have been this past August in NYC while I was dancing as a Lollipop Girl for MIKA during his performance on Good Morning America. It was so awesome to have my own dressing room, hair stylist and make-up artist there to attend to me, and only me. Being escorted down to the studio to perform for a nationally broadcast show was not nerve wracking at all, I was more confident knowing that millions would be watching and the performance was great. After the show I was leaving the studios and a group of 5 girls approached me asking if they could get a picture with their favorite Lollipop Girl to put on their refrigerator back home in New Jersey . Of course I took pictures with the group of girls and left New York that afternoon headed back to boring life in Ohio knowing that if I were recognized on the street it would be because everyone in my town has known each other since the formation of the town 200 years ago, and not because they saw me on TV.
