I about died.
I just got a new job at a new luxurious tanning salon and designer clothing boutique here in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I'm part Native American, so tanning for me is easy. I've been in the beds here and there throughout the past couple of weeks. I've taken tests on how to inform people how to smart tan. I've read up on lotions and what they do and why they're helpful. I've learned about the consequences of harmful UV rays to the skin and eyes.
BUT, I assure you none of that prepared me for today!!
We're having our grand opening on Friday. So my lovely boss (she may be reading this, but I promise I really mean lovely-she's amazing really) wanted us girls to Mystic Tan. We all need to be dark and beautiful for the opening! Right? After preparing myself, making sure the barrier cream was on the right places, making sure I did everything right, I was shocked when the room filled up with tanner. This isn't good for a claustrophobic girl. I about died. I think I had a panic attack. I couldn't breathe. Hey, I think I'm liking the tan though (that's what matters). UV free and not harmful for the skin!!
For those of you wanting those Mystic Tans, I recommend it. Just be aware the whole room will fill up!

• Do you consider yourself fabulous? How so?
I am incredibly fabulous. I live in an amazing house. I work at a marvelous place—I sell beautiful clothes and help people look their best. I am a full time student. I still have time to be a wonderful friend. I do everything right. What’s not fabulous about that?
• What qualities make you the perfect celebrity BFF?
I would be a perfect celebrity BFF because I know how to make people around me feel better. I would never put them down! I would be there through all the drama helping them and not creating more! My friendship would be very boosting for the confidence.
• What similarities do you share with Paris? How are you different?
Paris is an Aquarius, and I’m a Libra. Our signs are the most friendship compatible of the zodiac! We share personality traits like loyalty, honesty, independence, and intelligence. We both love animals, music, and some finer things in life like shopping and traveling. Paris and I have even both been in the city of Altus, Arkansas. Not very many people have been to Altus, so that should mean something… like we are bound to be friends.
Our major difference is how we grew up. She grew up in the city. I grew up in small town Arkansas. Plus, she’s really fortunate with all her opportunities in music, film, and fashion. I haven’t been as lucky on that end.
• It's hard to stay in the public eye. How would you maintain the limelight?
I handle stress easily. I can adapt to change. If something is said or done that hurts me I would know how to deal with it. I am pretty laidback when it comes to stuff like that. To tell the truth, I don’t know if I would even notice the difference.
Seriously.
It's been raining here for about three days straight. The only sunshine I see is in the tanning bed at work. Spring Break isn't as fun without warm weather and sunshine. It doesn't look like I'm even going to be able to wear my new sun glasses.
We've had tornado and flood watches/warnings for at least the past 24 hours. Crazy to think we were just in a drought and now we're being flooded. Thanks Global Warming.
