THROUGH MY EYES
I’m looking through open doors, but all I see is nothing.
Can’t seem to find anyone or anything.
Just an island of hope and a sea of shame.
Running from fears and not facing life.
All I want is all I need.
Everything is bringing me down, yet, nothing is stopping me.
The air around me is polluted with confusion.
I’m wishing not to waste time on pondering for amusement.
but realizing what is right is believing what my purpose is.
Look into my eyes. What do you visualize?
Am I what you expected or am I all wrong?
Look deep into my heart.
Is there passion I can’t seem to see?
Who am I? Where am I? What have I done?
This is life through my eyes.
What makes sense? Who can you trust these days?
Who’s being true to your face;
Who’s denying. It’s difficult to tell.
Lying to myself. I should be ashamed.
Knowing the real me is the main thing.
Traveling the road of sorrow.
And not seeing positive things.
Who I am is all that I can be.
Determination and persistence are primary.
Choosing right choices is complicated,
but knowing what is wrong is the simplest of things.
This is life through my eyes.

I go by Manda. I love to draw, write songs/poems, and go camping. One of my favorite all time hobbies is riding my quad!! I have a ton of pets! Anything from some gerbils to even a duck! As you can tell, I am a total animal lover! Well, that is about it for now!
