Producers/ Paris Please Read!!!!

Everyone who is a huge fan of Paris Hilton realizes that she does get constantly discriminated against by the media and other people. It ‘s important to realize that being a celebrity comes with a lot of positive and negative aspects, that also come with a lot of power and responsibility , that allows you to influence people especially younger fans. So the media feels as if it is their job to criticize and draw attention to people such as Paris Hilton, in order to increase their ratings or readers, since they know people will be interested to know how these so called “perfect people” live their lives.
One thing that definitely helps celebrities in situations like dealing with bad press and that also helps maintain their respect and credibility to all of their fans is to hire publicists that assist in media relations. The job of a publicist is to speak with the media on the behalf of a celebrity and help maintain their image as well as deal with crisis management. Crisis management is the use of public relations to minimize harm to the celebrity’s image in an emergency situation that could cause damage to their career. One thing that is important to be aware of is audience analysis, the publicist should be aware of the receivers of the message and what they are interested in , what they know, what their attitudes and values are, and what they want to know. I believe after the incident of Paris being put in jail, she handled the situation as best as anyone could. When Paris got out of jail and made her first appearance and was spoken to for the first time, she said that she learned a lot from the situation and that she was interested in helping other more now because of what she learned from the whole ordeal and she was doing more philanthropic things ever since she was let out.
Right now I am going to Texas Christian University and am majoring in Advertising/ Public Relations with an emphasis in Communication Studies. I think if I were chose for the show that I would definitely end up being chosen as Paris Hilton’s new BFF. I am a real person that is extremely emotionally intelligent and talk anyone through anything and deal with crisis situations, and I would be there for Paris whenever she needed me, I am not auditioning for the show just to be on TV. I truly believe that I could be a really good friend to Paris, given the chance to meet her and her get to know who I really am, and what I’m really about.
