Paris' Fall
So I'm sitting here surfing the net and I come across these videos on youtube of Paris and Benji in Prague trying to do some normal, touristy stuff and of course they're swarmed by paps to the point of insanity and Paris ends up getting hurt. Now I know most people on here, myself included, immediately jump to feel bad for her. "Oh No! Poor Paris!" And part of me wants the paps to leave her alone for a second ("Leave! Paris! Alone!" lol), but..
But then..
Then there's something else, another part of me that.. well.. honestly?
Part of me steps back and looks at her life and I, well, can you really feel bad for Paris Hilton? She's PARIS HILTON!
And that makes me wonder, do you think Paris feels bad for Paris? Can a person so unbelievably fortunate ever rationalize feeling sorry for themselves? We're all human so I suppose I would venture to say, "Yes." (The lyrics, "You don't know what it's like to be me" come to mind.) But really? Maybe sometimes it kindof sucks and all, maybe. Sometimes. But come on! At the end of the day you're still PARIS HILTON!!
Hear me out:
I got a new cell phone this weekend, and the first thing I did was b*tch about how it wasn't the one I wanted. The one I wanted would have cost way more and I couldn't afford it, not to mention I don't actually need it either. I "settled" instead for a $250 touch screen slider. My mother, always one to point out my absurdness, whined, "Ohh!! Whoas Me!" when I called her to complain and I had to laugh at myself. She was so right. I don't feel bad for me. My life is pretty kick a$$ and I don't have a lot to complain about. There are so many people less fortunate than me, how can I possibly feel any self pity without feeling guilty?! I can't feel bad for me. And I can't feel bad for Paris either. Sorry P. I respect you which is why when we're bff's I'll tell you the same thing to your face. In a nice way, of course.
That's the kind of friend I am.
Besides, if it wasn't for those pesky paps you wouldn't be the Paris you are today.

The Mandatory Questions
Here goes...
Do you consider yourself fabulous? How so?
Sometimes. Like when I go out with my girls to a club and to get in there's a long line- I'm not a fan of waiting on lines. I walk up to the head bouncer and smile and say something like, "Hi! It's just me and my girls. Do we need to wait?" It's rare they don't pull the rope aside immediately. Fabulous!
On the other hand right now I'm a little hung over, in my pj's and I just ate a bowl of top ramin- not so fabulous.
What qualities make you the perfect celebrity BFF?
I'm not exactly sure what the qualities of being the perfect BFF vs the perfect "celebrity" BFF are, but here's what I do know. I'm smart and I have the necessary experience. Let's face it- for those of us who are not celebrities, going to college is about as close as we'll ever come to a carefree, party all the time life. Been there, done that. Successfully too. I was the president of my sorority at a crazy party school and still managed to graduate with honors. I know when and how to party and I enjoy taking care of my friends and being responsible and accountable. Also, I'm a good listener and I'm there for my friends when they need me.
What similarities do you share with Paris? How are you different?
Similarities? Easy. We're hot and we both like to have a good time. And we like boys. Differences? Where could I possible begin? How's, "Everything about Paris and I, with the exception of the 3 similarities listed, is different."?
It's hard to stay in the public eye. How would you maintain the limelight?
It's a well known fact that in order to keep people's eyes on you, you must re-invent yourself every so often. Look at Madonna and Mariah. I think I would be able to come up with ideas that would get attention focused on me that cause shock because they're different. For example, one week I'm partying in Greece with shipping heirs, the next week I'm visiting poverty torn nations with the Pope.
