Tell us about your high school experience. Was it positive/negative? Why?

So I attended a private Catholic school in OKC, OK. This wasn't because my parents were really wealthy or rich, but because they were parents from the West Indies, whom believed strongly in education. Overall high school years were fun, but not fun enough. I lived 45 min. away from the school itself. So getting involved in activities and sport were difficult my first 2 years. however I stayed active in the during school activities. i was actually V.P. of my class Freshman Year. Junior year, I ran track and then Senior I went out for soccer. I really didn't get the whole high school experience, as far as hanging out at weekend parties or any of that stuff, because of distance and more so because of my parents. I mean I only spent the night out at a friends 2x!!!! I got along with pretty much everyone and didn't try and play into the click "thing". I mean it was jus like on "Mean Girls" during lunch as far as the segregation. I would sit at the popular table, the table with all the blacks , the hispanic table, and even the drama club or really artsy type table. I actually was in drama club. I remember during class photos for all the clubs, I would sneak in photos like French Club,,,HAHA. I think I wanted to be more active than it possible to be (aka: being at a club that both meets at the same time each day). I was kinda shy at times at school. One of my teachers would try and get me to assert myself more because she saw this "it" quality in me. So, yeah like I said I didn't get to go out so there wasn't any chance of drinking during high school and I only got in 1 fight. It sucks, but I didn't get to go to prom because I planned too late. I was supposed to take my coaches daughter, she was LATINA & HOT!!! I went to a couple of dances and dated a girl for like 1.5yrs. I mean everyone had their idea how there gonna be and do in college, but I had some much restriction. I just wanted to graduate and get out so I can be on my own and make my own decisions....HAHA!! I remember taking a chemistry test and purposely not finishing, (knowing the teacher would give me unsupervised allowance in time during lunch) so that I could take one of the smart kids papers and copy his answers!!! The teacher, unexpectedly cam in and I stuck his paper under my shirt when she wasn't looking. The teacher noticed the shape of my shirt and asked me to lift it up and out the paper fell!!!! I ended up getting an F on the test and D that quarter!! : ( I remember my mom once, slapping me in front of some people cause I had her waiting outside for me after school had let out!! Senior I was named "Best Dressed Guy" & " Most Friendliest Guy". Its crazy, because that is still me today...haha!! Everyone was able to relate to me in someway and was drawn to this sweet and really lax guy. So overall experience was BITTER SWEET>>> YOU COULDN'T HOLD THIS SOCIAL BUTTERFLY DOWN!!
